Interlegal is an international network of law firms, which was founded in 1987. It has over 40 members in more than 30 countries worldwide. The purpose of Interlegal is so that members can refer cases to one another and also work on cases together. Occasionally firms exchange colleagues for work experience.
The members meet twice a year and know each other well. This helps to build up trust. Most firms are regarded as medium sized commercial law firms in their jurisdictions. They all handle business law.
At the meetings members of the Network we discuss formal business, professional and legal issues and have time to spend together socially. It is essential for members to attend these meetings and to commit themselves to the needs of the Network, responding to correspondence and telephone calls in a positive manner.
The annual subscription is 1,000 euro with a joining fee of 600 euro.
Members get out of the Network very much what they put into it and those who put in a lot receive good cases.
The Network is run by the Executive Committee which has a President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary. The Network also employs a paid officer on a part-time basis.
If there are any questions or enquiries they can be referred to Mr Riccardo Cajola, Vice-President, Cajola & Associati, Via G, Rossini, 5 102122 Milano.
