INTERLEGAL CONGRESS IN SWITZERLAND. FROM MAY 6 TO MAY 9, 2010

Reymond & Fischele law firm is quite pleased to welcome you by the Leman lakeside for Interlegal Congress and General Assembly.

The Congress will take place in Ouchy (the port of Lausanne), by the lakeside. Lausanne is the fifth city in Switzerland, head office of several international organizations, among them a few sports organizations. Lausanne is also the head office of the International Olympic Committee. Lausanne is situated 60 km from Geneva, in an exceptional landscape, facing the lake, among several vineyards. 

We are hereafter outlining the program we are happy to provide to you.

It is still a project which might be modified and adapted.

 

Thursday May 6, 2010:

Arrival of the guests at Geneva-Cointrin airport.

Welcoming of the guests and accompanying to the train to Lausanne.

Welcoming of the guests at the train station in Lausanne. Transport of guests to Ouchy by taxi.

Installation of the guests in one or several of hotels in Ouchy (Château d’Ouchy, Radisson Mövenpick).

Evening dinner at Château d'Ouchy.

 

Friday May 7, 2010:

After breakfast and for our guests who wish to do so, ride with the new tube M2 up to the center of the City.
Two visits are proposed :

A) Guided tour of the old town and of the center of Lausanne with several guides.

B) Visit of the Hermitage Foundation, just above the old town, with an exceptional view over the Cathedral and the City of Lausanne. Guided tour of the exhibition "100 masterworks of the Städel Museum of Frankfurt", one of the largest pictures collection of Germany (works by Edgar Degas, Manet, Matisse, Monet, Gustave Moreau, Auguste Renoir, Pablo Picasso, Odilon Redon, Paul Klee, Max Beckmann, among others).

Typical lunch in the center of Lausanne, in one of the most ancient breweries of the City.

Ride to Ouchy, by the lakeside, with the M2 tube.

In the afternoon, we will hold our legal workshops. These will take place either at the hotel or at the Olympic Museum.

At the end of the afternoon, we will leave for our gala night. This will be a surprise that everyone should enjoy.

 

Saturday May 8, 2010:

After breakfast, Interlegal General Assembly of at the Olympic Museum.

After the General Assembly, short visit of the Olympic Museum, with luncheon to be taken at the Museum as well.

Mid-afternoon, we will leave for the Lavaux vineyard, world heritage UNESCO. After a cruise on the lake, we will visit the vineyards, with a wine tasting in a cave. We will have dinner at a vineyard.

For the accompanying persons, visit of the Museum of Art Brut, one of the world's most important collections of these arts, known internationally. The hart of the collection was created by the French painter Jean Dubuffet and given in the 1970s to the City of Lausanne. Ever since, the collection developed enormously and to presently be the reference for these outsized arts. The way to the Museum will allow going through the market, which is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays' mornings in the center of the City. It is one of the nicest markets of Switzerland.

 

Sunday May 9, 2010:

After breakfast, day free and departure or our guests.

Optionnal Brunch from 1100 – 1500 at Me Fischele’s appartement.

For our guests who wish to do so, we will organize optionally a visit of Bern's old town, also part of UNESCO world heritage, as well as of the Paul Klee Museum. This is an exceptional museum designed and built by Renzo Piano. It was recently inaugurated and houses one of the most important collections of Paul Klee's works in the world.
