Miguel Neto Advogados has announced the incorporation of Esther Flesch (pictured left) and Vanessa Carvalho (pictured right) as new partners to strengthen the Compliance, Corporate Investigations and ESG; and Social Security and Labour practices, respectively.

Esther Flesch, a world reference in Compliance, has 30 years of experience in corporate law. Throughout her career, she has received dozens of national and international awards in various areas of law, having also developed a deep experience in the Life Sciences and Health sector and in the digital and IT industry. Esther has successfully worked on major leniency agreements involving Brazilian companies in Brazil and in the US. She has provided services to some of the world’s largest companies with a strong presence in the American and European markets.

Vanessa Carvalho graduated in Law from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado – FAAP, developed a successful career in auditing and consulting firms (Big-4), where she led important projects for companies in the industrial, retail and services sectors, serving medium and large national and global companies. She has coordinated several reviews of labour and social security tax issues in the corporate environment, working on compliance projects, mergers and acquisitions, payroll tax assessment, routine and labour practices and trade unions. She has also excelled in quality assessment and cost optimisation, internal controls, process and people management, HR policy implementation and personnel department management, among other activities. Vanessa is also a researcher at the Labour and Social Security Law study group of the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de São Paulo, Largo São Francisco – GTRAB-USP and GETRAB-PREV-USP.
